JITPP: Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Produksi Peternakan is a rigorous, peer-reviewed, and open-access academic journal dedicated to the advancement of animal science, livestock production, and veterinary technologies. The journal provides an authoritative and dynamic platform for researchers, animal scientists, academicians, and industry professionals to publish original research, comprehensive reviews, and short communications addressing contemporary challenges and innovative solutions in the global and tropical livestock industries.

Scope and Topics JITPP welcomes high-quality submissions based on empirical studies and experimental research. The journal’s scope encompasses a broad spectrum of livestock disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology: Ruminant and non-ruminant nutrition, feed processing, forage science, and alternative feed resources.

  • Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Reproduction: Livestock genetics, artificial insemination, reproductive biotechnology, and breeding strategies.

  • Livestock Production and Management: Farming systems, animal welfare, housing and environmental control, and precision livestock farming.

  • Animal Health and Veterinary Science: Disease prevention, epidemiology in livestock, biosecurity, and herd health management.

  • Livestock Products Technology: Milk, meat, and egg processing, food safety, post-harvest technology, and the development of functional animal-based foods.

  • Livestock Socio-Economics: Agribusiness, livestock marketing, supply chain management, and community development in rural livestock sectors.

Publication Frequency and Access JITPP is published biannually (twice a year). The journal strictly adheres to an Open Access policy, ensuring that the dissemination of livestock knowledge is unrestricted. All published articles are immediately, permanently, and freely available for the global community to read, download, copy, and distribute under a Creative Commons (CC) license, eliminating any subscription or paywall barriers.

Peer Review Process To uphold the highest academic and scientific integrity, every submitted manuscript undergoes a strict double-blind peer review process. Independent experts and scholars in relevant fields of animal science evaluate the submissions based on their scientific originality, methodological rigor, accuracy of statistical data, and contribution to livestock discourse. The identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain strictly confidential throughout the evaluation process to guarantee an objective assessment.
