JP: Jurnal Pengabdian is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality articles documenting community engagement, social empowerment, and the application of appropriate technology. The journal serves as an open platform for lecturers, researchers, students, and community practitioners to disseminate evidence-based community service activities, participatory action research (PAR), and sustainable development programs designed to improve community welfare.
Scope and Topics JP welcomes multi-disciplinary submissions that demonstrate measurable impact and active community participation. The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Community Empowerment & Welfare: Capacity building, local economic development, MSME assistance, and poverty alleviation strategies.

Education and Literacy: Non-formal education, training programs, digital literacy, and educational institutional development in rural and underdeveloped regions.

Publication Frequency and Access JP is published biannually (twice a year). Operating under a strict Open Access policy, all articles published in the journal are immediately and permanently free for anyone to read, download, copy, and distribute under a Creative Commons (CC) license, ensuring that practical knowledge for community development is widely accessible without any subscription barriers.
Peer Review Process To maintain high scholarly standards and ensure the practical and methodological validity of published works, every submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Independent experts in community service and relevant fields evaluate submissions based on their clarity of methodology, level of community involvement, program sustainability, and tangible outcomes. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain strictly confidential.
